No surprises, pretty big but does its job.
Pack Camping/Hiking – YES. Casual/Car camping – NO. I’ve got a comfort series and then I bought this one for my wife to join me for camping. Make no mistake, these are better than sleeping directly on the ground, but just barely.This thing will not greatly improve your quality of sleep while camping. It’s just not thick or padded enough. I’ve camped for decades.. and you never really sleep that great on the ground. The best sleep you can expect for the great outdoors, short of bringing a large inflatable mattress, is a hammock…
