Wide enough to support both children and adults, it’s not so big that multiple cots can’t be used safely in a tent. When you’re finished with it, just slide the legs into their own sleeve and use the attached straps to roll the cot up into a single, easy to carry bundle. Loved this cot – but nearly impossible for anyone but a body-builder to assemble. I shopped a lot before buying this, and I would have given it a glowing 5 star review if I had been able to assemble it. I did see all the comments about it being hard to get the legs in – but I thought it couldn’t be as tough as others were saying. HOWEVER, my husband who is a burly pipe fitter strained to get the legs in! He had to use most of his strength and his arms were shaking as he tried to pull the bars and place them.
