Nice kit ! I like this kit ! I just took it apart and played w/ it – nicely made, seems sturdy and it all really does fit back together without a problem ! I would take it backpacking – weighs in at 14.85 oz without the box.Only 2 things I would change:1) I’m not a fan of plastic so I would make the bowls and ladle out of metal. Might make it lighter, too. That’s a personal preference – the plastic here is thick and sturdy – it will hold up and I will use it.2) the handle for the pot…
Great Compact Cook Set Love this compact cook set! Perfect for including on all of your outdoor adventures! Over Veterans Weekend, I took it on a 4 day trip on the river, the pot and pan are both great over a camp burner or set on the edge of the coals. A recipe book would be ideal. Only complaint is the soup spoon, the metallic handle unlatches when closing and the spoon itself is not well symmetrical. You have to fold it exactly as it comes or the carry bag will not close. I expected better click from the foldable handles also. Just warmed water for coffee unobstrusively in less than three minutes with one hexamine tablet and it handled heat handsomely.
