It was easy to fill up It was easy to fill up, take off and put on the lid, and carry around. We used this on a camping trip for it’s first time use. The spout is a bit different than what I’m used to. You pull it out and the water outlet hole appears. The funny part is the spout can rotate 360 degrees so your water can come directly out or have to spill out from the top – either way we always got wet. I think ours came missing a piece.
