Finally, a rainfly… What vestibule? Yes, after a lot of customer feedback Coleman finally decided to release a rainfly for their Instant Tent line. As seen in my pictures above it comes in a similar pouch and it has the same tie-down lines and pin-style stakes as the tents themselves. Don’t bother! I bought this rain fly “just in case” for a camping trip through Oregon and Washington in July. I already had the Colemant 6-person instant tent for one year and had no problems with it. My parents have the same tent, one year older. We both purchased them from Costco on sale…The rainfly fits nicely in the bag with the tent and can even be kept on the tent while packing it up to make set up easier… That being said, you do need to check to make sure it is on straight. Fake!!! This is not an actual Coleman product. I ordered this just over a year ago. Living in So-Cal, we don’t get much rain. While I’ve used the tent many, many times, I never needed to use the rainfly…until this past weekend. The velcro loops on the inside of the rainfly, that are used to hold it to the frame poles, immediately ripped off with no tension put on them yet.
