1st one was for my son. This one’s for me. This is the second one I’ve purchased based on how impressed I was with the one I bought for my son. Both are built well and don’t seem to be cheap quality. The design is key. Folding instead of rolling makes it much more packable, especially on our overnight backpacking trips. Very good, but you’ll need to puff some air into it. My daughter loves building hide-outs and sleeping in them. This pad works great for her. It didn’t inflate by itself, I blew into it to inflate it fully. Though it doesn’t seem to bother her, the pad’s just a bit short; she’s about 47 inches and her feet or her head hang off– it depends how she’s sleeping. I bought it because it was advertised for youth and gave the length as 49 inches. I should have realized her prone length for a pad would be about 50 inches, but I will say the descriptor…
