Loved it for the beach!! So I write this review after returning from a week at the beach with this canopy. We took delivery of the canopy 2 days before vacation, so we did not get to try it out at all prior to leaving for the beach. Fortunately, everything was delivered, and worked perfectly. Being regular beach-goers, we certainly realize that it can get quite windy on the beach, not to mention there really isn’t opportunity to stake the legs in firmly. We DID purchase the EZ Up bag weights to use. They worked…
Excellent, stable beach canopy – even on very windy days Here’s a pic of the canopy. It is very easy to set up. We buried the legs about 8″ down, attached sand bags (AbcCanopy) and tied the tethers on each corner to the bags. The tethers are designed for stakes (included), but that wouldn’t work in the sand. It was very windy at the beach and the canopy was completely stable. Also buy the Velcro AbcCanopy bags – no zippers as they would not work well in the sand. Some hints: You can leave the canopy top attached with the Velcro on the frame…
