Great for camping, used on propane camp chef stove no problem.
It works – one simply needs to practice with it. For me and my needs this works well. I have read other reviews from previous purchasers whom have complained about one thing or another in relation to this coffee pot. The complaint most mentioned was how flimsy the lid clamp attachment was. I agree it is “flimsy”. My solution to that was to remove the clamp altogether and use my HAND to hold the lid on the pot while pouring. Oh, and if it gets to hot to hold there are ways to aid the user.
