Great for car camping! We love camping and have always used our no-longer-good-enough-for-the kitchen pots and pans. This year we decided to get some “real” camping cookware, and this set is just right. We do take a griddle that fits over both burners of the propane stove, but for the non-griddle cooking, this set is just right for us – large pot, small pot, and small (yes, quite small) fry pan. The pot handles clip on (and off) easily, but they’re metal so they do heat up some. I guess that’s why only one…
I liked it so much I had to buy another after my first GSI cook set was stolen.
Great I already had the Base Camp set but also wanted a smaller set, mostly for a smaller pot. This is perfect. I use both sets in my RV with limited space. When both sets are nested (separately) they take up very little space. They are easy to use and easy to clean. The mini cutting boards are next to useless for me in the RV but they do make great spacers to keep the pots & pans from rubbing off the Teflon finish.
