Solid product – not perfect, but more than adequate I currently have a L’Equipe dehydrator and like it a lot. So this particular unit had a lot to live up to if it was going to impress me. Unpacking the unit, I found it to be a bit smaller than what I had anticipated. However, the trays seem to be a bit deeper and they definitely hold a substantial amount of product for dehydration. It’s nice! Very versatile with what you can make and the included instructions are great! It’s a nice design, and fits more food than most of this size. I love the digital temperature control and the timer is amazing (self-shut off, it’s excellent!). I’ve made tangerine segments , tangerine peels, and ginger root, all for use in tea. I purchased this for drying herbs as well , but our growing season has just started, so I haven’t tried herbs yet.
