Prior to purchasing I asked a basic question about whether the mat was waterproof on the bottom to be used outdoors. I never received a answer, and decided to purchase this product anyways. When I got it, it was super soft on one side (if it wasn’t for the bottom you could almost use this for a actual crib quilt), the bottom is more of a cheaper material made for the ground.
