For the rugged traveller… who wants to carry-on his/her gear. I searched for a long time for the perfect backpack for my needs. Here was my criteria: durable bag, affordable, different compartments for organization, simple/sharp design. Lastly, I needed to be able to carry it onto a plane, so cinch straps to compress the contents was a must, the color black was preferred (will explain below).I tested this bag on a two week trip backpacking through Vietnam. love it! I’ve had this pack for over a month now and I love it! I’m 5’2 and it fits great… it goes by torso size not height. I’m 5’2 athletic build that normally wears a size small pack or between 13 and 15 torso. It fits great. The compression straps cinch it down or up all over the place so I could see how someone that wears a medium pack could fit in it as well. Would recommend to everyone! Fantastic pack, I had an 85L bag from REI before buying this for 1-3day hiking trips.
