No problems I’m a truck driver who lives in his truck all the time and since summer is coming in I had to buy a cooler and I chose this one over many others.It’s rigid, solid and operates quietly. It does what it’s suppose to do, cooling down. I usually unplug it before going to bed and start ut again in the morning. I have had it for over a week now with no problems.Somehow I feel it’s a bit small for me. So, I’m giving it to a brother and I’m buying the big 40 quart one.Ao far so good…
It works exactly as the manual says – I like it. Whoo-hoo! This cooler was exactly what I expected.First off, what I measured; Current draw at 13.5 Volts was about 4.7 Amperes. At 12.2 Volts the current draw was about 3.5 Amperes. The manual says 3.5 to 4.8 Amperes, The manual agrees with my measurements.Secondly, this is a thermoelectric cooler. What Cracks? I am happy with this cooler so far. I had a 40 Qt. Coleman thermoelectric cooler and I like the size of this one better because I can put it on the floor board passenger side or the back seat. The other one was too big. I am going to debunk a few reviews I read. The thermoelectric coolers are not designed to keep your food and drinks ice cold like a refrigerator. So for those of you who are disappointed, do like I do and use frozen ice packs. They do not melt as fast as in the thermoelectric…
