Great long term or hiking food! This is the very first Mountain House meal I’ve tried but from what I’ve read I had high expectations. Prior to this the only form of portable or long term storage entrees I’ve had were MREs while in the Marine Corps. I’m not very picky at all and enjoy most foods and actually enjoyed most of the MRE meals. However I will admit most everything had a consistent mushy texture.
