Windproof I have had this bivy for a while. The initial reaction was that this bivy bag is a bit thin and could possibly rip out in the field. Before I took it with me on my camping trip, I sprayed the whole thing with waterproofing spray just in case. It was a chilly night. 24 F with high winds, but this bivy bag stopped virtually all wind from seeping through. This definitely kept my sleeping bag warmer, by protecting it from the wind.
