Great for the price I tested this tarp out to make a shelter on a recent backpacking trip. We had scattered storms throughout the night so I was a bit concerned using a new tarp but it held up just fine. Totally waterproof, even in a part where my pack was leaning against the tarp for the night. Itâs a great tarp for the price. Ground tarp For what I got this for, I couldn’t be happier. I wanted a cheap, tough, small, light tarp, for a ground sheet. I can use this as a tent footprint for my 2 man tent, though I haven’t yet. I have however, used it as a ground tarp to lay my stuff on and work with things when I’m out in the woods. For that, it’s perfect. It’s waterproof, it’s tough, and it folds down to the size of a soda can. The metric dimensions are a little odd, but it’s close enough to 5×7 for me in the small size…
