This thing isn’t breathable… which surprises me. Shame. I’m a little stunned by this thing. I would have assumed this bug netting was breathable, but it was anything but that when I put it to the test! almost perfect a very light way to keep bugs off while sleeping solo. at first i was having trouble getting the delrin shock corded pole in and out of the sleeve, but if i watch which way the pole goes in it goes in easy (also curve it in last 8 inches), and when i pull it out i pull on the shock cord instead of pulling on the tubing (doh!) it comes out easy. it has tie out spots but no cord on them – so i guess i will have to add them. i took one star off because i think the zipper should go down at least…
design needs improvement ….. In theory, this design should work fine since it has a bow above the head/shoulder area. But in reality there isnt adequate tension on the net to keep it taut and away from your face and arms. A separate bendy stick perpendicular from the bow to the top would bolster that area, but there is another issue. From the waist down, the netting lays limp so any movement or turrning during the night means you roll into the fabric like a mummy – unless you sleep perfectly still all night, this net…
