This thing tripled as a stool, a foot rest, and a mounting block.It is really easy to put together, but at first I wasn’t sure. Very lightweight; takes a bit of work to assemble Very compact and lightweight. Not the most comfortable chair in the world, but it serves its purpose in giving me something more comfortable than a rock or damp log to sit on. If I want to lean back I put it next to a tree and lean against the trunk.The legs are short and splayed outward in such a way that I think it will be less prone to sink into soft ground than the other stool that has longer legs.
