Fill weight is an important gauge I wanted a warmer weather sleeping bag and that’s what I got. A larger bag with only 2 lbs of fill means that is a late spring through early fall bag. It takes quite a bit to get cold but I used this in the low 40s with a quality pad and a fleece liner and I had to break out my 30 degree bag. It really is a 50 degree bag.
