Sea to Summit eVAC Dry Sack,Blue,3-Liter
The new eVAC Dry Sack is a slimmed down version of our award winning eVENT Compression Dry Sack. We use waterproof, air permeable eVENT fabric on the base for valve-free air expelling, allowing compact packing. Instead of straps for compression, you just roll the sack down and air is pushed out of the base. Then close the buckle and you’ve just saved space and weight. The sack is oval-shaped, rather than round so they resist rolling when laid on their side.

although I didn’t test them for a full submersion under water for a good amount of time I got these to supplement my older dry sacks for a backpacking trip through Alaska. They were MUCH thinner and lighter than my old school ones which was similar style, but thicker vinyl type material. I ended up using these to throw my stuff in, roll it because it let the air squeeze out (but supposedly not water in) and throwing these into my old school, tried and true thicker ones I knew for a fact could go for a dunk in water and not get wet. The few times they were out, they were…
These are awesome food sacks for a backpacking adventure I have both the 8L and the 13L, and they’re both great! They’ve gone on two trips with me so far – 2 weeks of boating/snorkeling in tropical Philippines, and 1 week of camping & rafting in the dry Grand Canyon. What I like about these over other dry sacks is how light and easy to fold they are.
