Jungle Blanket is great for backpacking/hiking/camping I used my jungle blanket on a recent backcountry hike/overnight camp in mid April. I was in a very remote location along a lake & creek. the stuff sac is better then i expected I bought this blanket with the intention of having it in my get home bag. With a combination of it and a “casualty blanket” ( tarp with Mylar on one side and a olive drab tarp on the other with grommets at the corners ) i believe i could make a primitive shelter out of the casualty blanket and cover myself with the snugpak blanket and stay reasonably warm in the winter time assuming i also have on winter rated clothing.the stuff sac is better then i expected. the blanket keeps…
Amazing, buy it! I gambed on this product….it most certainly paid off. This blanket is a little on the heavy side, comes with an amazing stuff sack, and is water resistant. Not water prood as it will get wet. Not as comfortable as everyone said, but on that note, feels just fine against my skin. Stinks bad when you first get it, but nothing febreeze wont take out. Spray the compression sack as well. I put it inside an escape bivvy (Survive Outdoors Longer Escape Bivvy) and it kept me warm at 42 degrees…
