Unreliable, more than half bad out of 10!
They are better than expected for the price
but I was surprised to see them pop out so easily. Didn’t expect much at ~80 cents a piece. I ordered two packs and they do work reasonably well, fitting over the 3/8th clip on the paracord bracelets we made. However, 80% of them had bubbles in the oil (not that bubbles affect these in the same way they would a needle based compass). More disappointingly, three of compasses popped out of the holder and were lost within a couple hours of the boys playing with them (cub scouts). If they hadn’t been lost, a little hot glue may have done the trick,…
