I think I found a happy medium between those three factors I’ve used this bag on several backpacking trips, between 3-6 day trips. I bought it because it was fairly big (enough for winter camping or a week long trip), inexpensive, and lightweight for its size. I think I found a happy medium between those three factors. Really nice pack for the money, if it fits you I bought this for a first time backpacking trip. Had to return it. Put stuff in it and tried adjusting it to balance the load between hips and shoulders. Due to my torso length I guess it just wasn’t possible. I used 25lbs of typical gear. In contrast I tried an Osprey pack on in size large and it immediately felt perfect. Which is no great comfort since it was twice as much as this one even on sale.
