Made laptop USB overheat I wanted to use this as a GPS-logger (not real-time via a SIM card). It is supposed to have that ability, and the instruction explained how to hook it to a computer to program it. Sounds good…but when I plugged it into my laptop via a USB cable (NOT included) both my USB port and the GPS device got too hot to touch.
