Answer 1: Yes if the thermocell backpacker has a lindal valve connection.
Answer 2:Yes, it looks like it will work. It works for my stove. It uses the same gas tank.

Question: if I purchase this adapter, I will be able to use the standard 1lb tanks to connect to the mini stoves?
Answer:Mine works well with 1lb propane tank.

Answer :Yes,It did not work on my thermacell backpacker!

Answer:It does not. Straight through
